well, seeing as I don't know anything about White Sox and Cubs, I'll just say:

The White Sox and Cubs are competing baseball teams from Chicago. Cubs fans think their team is the best, but they're perennial losers (the Cubs, not their fans -- no wait, Cubs fans are losers, too!).
The only bad thing is that I couldn't attend any of the World Series games because I had just moved to the Virgin Islands! I would've given anything to see my ChiSox win the Series. Of course, the BVI sport a world-renowned cricket team....
Nah, it's not the same thing.
